Dr. John Palabiyik

Dr. John Palabiyik is an Associate Professor, Program Coordinator of the Hospitality and Tourism Management Program, and the Chair of the Management, Business & Information Technology Department at Framingham State University. His work centers on the fields of hospitality and tourism management, with a commitment to preparing students for careers in a global and service-focused industry.

He teaches across the Hospitality and Tourism Management curriculum, focusing on professional skills, industry knowledge, and experiential learning. As Program Coordinator, he supports curriculum development, student guidance, and academic planning within the program.

In his role as Department Chair, he works closely with faculty, staff, and industry partners to strengthen program offerings and enhance student opportunities. His leadership extends across departmental initiatives, strategic planning, and community engagement.

Dr. Palabiyik has contributed to the hospitality and tourism field through service, presentations, and collaborative work with academic and industry colleagues. His professional interests include hospitality operations, tourism development, and organizational leadership.
